Demand Studies

|
Demand is on the rise for residential living in urban downtown Houston. In October 2003, a comprehensive study was prepared for the Houston Downtown Management District by CDS Market Research. The primary objectives of the study were to: develop estimates of demand for various types, price ranges and densities of both rental and for-sale housing in Houston's Downtown and Midtown areas; and to describe potential renters/buyers.

Increased residential demand is also anticipated and planned for in the Downtown Development Framework, a collaborative effort by downtown organizations and citizens.
